Fish out of Water!
Shoreline fishing is offered daily from sunrise to 9:00 p.m. Fishing from a boat is permitted from sunrise to sunset. Types of fish in the reservoir include trout, bass, bluegill, catfish, carp, red dear and crappie. In addition to the lake being stocked and regulated by the State Department of Fish and Game, fishery is enhanced with three annual fishing derbies, sponsored by the Bonelli Park Support Foundation. Popular fishing areas are located on the East and South Shores.

Sunfish and Crappie Combined Bag Limit
The daily bag limit for sunfish is reduced to 25 fish and incorporated into a combined bag limit of 25 sunfish and crappie of all species except as noted in Section 5.82. Tilapia are moved out of the sunfish bag limit and still remain with no limit.
