Welcome
to
Bonelli Park

Enjoy the Many Activities at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park
The 1,975 acres of parkland surrounding Puddingstone Reservoir offer year-round recreation: family and group picnicking, sightseeing, hiking, horseback riding, jogging, nature walks, RV and group camping, a water-theme park, calf-roping events, bird watching, golfing, and bicycling. Law enforcement officers patrol the park on horseback and in vehicles to help keep the grounds safe and clean. Maintenance personnel are available throughout the area. The Mounted Assistance Unit also patrols miles of trails, providing first aid and other assistance to visitors and animals. This volunteer group has supported the park for many years and has helped fund major improvements to equestrian facilities.

Planning Your Visit

Puddingstone Reservoir sits at the heart of Bonelli Park, with separate areas for boating, fishing, and swimming along roughly five miles of shoreline. Whether you are reserving a picnic shelter, launching a boat, or spending an afternoon on the swim beach, each activity has its own rules and seasonal schedule.

Use the pages below for activity-specific details before you arrive. The About the Park page covers headquarters and general visitor services. The Hiking & Trails page covers trail maps, shared equestrian routes, and hiking safety tips. Boating explains launch fees, lake maps, and watercraft rules. Swimming lists swim beach hours and safety requirements. Reserve Picnic Areas walks through shelter reservations and group picnic options. For Junior Lifeguard program updates, see the JG Bulletin/Calendar.

Park maps and trail guides are available from the buttons above. For the most current fees, closures, and special events, confirm details with park staff at 909-599-8411 or through the official Los Angeles County Parks website.
